These terms and conditions apply to all photography services provided by Days With Carl. By booking a session, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable booking fee (deposit) of 20% is required to secure the time and date of your session.
The remaining balance is due within 3 days of the shoot being completed.
Dates are not received until the booking fee is received.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
If the client cancels, the booking fee is non-refundable.
Cancellations are made within 3 days may incur additional fees.
The Photographer will make every reasonable effort to reschedule sessions due to illness, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Copyright and Usage
All images remain the copyright of the Photographer
The client is granted a personal license to print and share images for non-commercial use.
Images may not be altered, sold, or used commercially without written permission.
The Photographer retains the right to use selected images for portfolio, website, and social media, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
5. Image Delivery
Edited images will be delivered via online downloadable gallery, usually within 7 days of smaller shoots, and up to 3 weeks of larger ones.
The Photographer will select and edit the best images from the session. Unedited or raw files are not provided.
6. Client Responsibility
The client is responsible for ensuring that everyone involved in the shoot is aware of the session details, timings and expectations.
7. Photographer Liability
The Photographer will take all reasonable care but is not liable for circumstances beyond their control, such as equipment failure, accidents, or environmental conditions.
In the unlikely event the images are lost, damaged, or destroyed, the Photographers liability is limited to a full refund or any fees paid.
8. Creative License
The Photographer’s judgement regarding image style, composition, and number of delivered photos is final.
Edits are performed to maintain the Photographer’s style and brand consistency.
9. Data Protection
Client data will be stored securely and used only for business and communication purposes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled in in the appropriate UK courts.
